Nameless mood

Today is Wednesday, 23rd July 2008. Anything wrong with the date? Personally think it's nothing wrong here. Wait, what time is it? It's 8:00pm...Again, I find it nothing wrong with the time. So, can anyone tells me what went wrong? Aahhh...maybe I have not had my dinner yet. Stomach? naahh, I am not hungry. "tik tok tik tok tik tok" (clock ticking)...

"Beep beep beep beep" (Handphone received a SMS)...my heart beat increased. Rushing towards my handphone and check who is looking for me...aahhh, my cousin in law saying the person who helps him to install cctv had just fixed the connection problem. hhhmmm....what is wrong here?

Everyone was trying to talk to me but I doesn't seems to concentrate. But my hand just keep typing and can't stop to express what is my feeling. I would say it's a mixed feeling. I don't know how to put them down in words. Probably a few words to describe it. I will put them down as my memory...

Disappointment, Betrayed, Hopeless, Helpless, Stressed, Shameful, Guilty, Regrets, Puzzled, Afraid and Panic...

So, can anyone tells me what kind of mood I am currently having? ...and thank you for not asking. Good night.

Focus on the family

Marriage...how many people understands what is the true meaning of marriage? Some of us will love to talk about this...some of us will try to run away from even discussing about it. Is it because of commitment you gave during your courtship? Is it because you love her too much? or is it because everyone is doing it and that's why? ...or probably the old folks are pushing you to the corner?

I am not sure whether any of you attended marriage counselling course before. I would say it's something essential for all stages of couples. No matter you are married, going to get married or even as a young couple that just got hooked.

I get to know this course by my own Church. It's actually one the prerequisites of our wedding at Church. I believe a lot of Christians should have gone through the course. Almost 99% of them give thumbs up to the course. Some even attended the course more than 3 times.

It's not free but definitely worth more than what you pay. It cost RM25 per person, meaning RM50 per couple. The material that they gave you is basically more than that. After the end of the course, they provide a candle lit dinner for both the couple. The one that I attend was conducted by Focus on the family. You can read more on their website.

My gf and I learned a lot about what are our differences and how we should punch each other at face tolerate with each other. A lot of things that the speaker talked about were so true about each one of us as a couple. Different backgrounds and those bad habits and get to know more even about ourselves! Sometimes we thought we know ourself very well, but it's not! trust me. They even talked about what are our expectations to our spouse and what are those things that we SHOULD NOT have expected from our spouse. There are a lot of DOs and DON'Ts guideline that I find it quite helpful.

Did I just gain weight? Did I?? No? *phew*~

I will really encourage those who have not attend the course before, to join at least once. It really helps to provide a clearer picture of what marriage is meant for. Especially for those rookies(young couple). At least they will realise what they really mean when they say "I Love You" or "I want to marry you, one day"...BBbbLLLLrrrrrr.... Can't believe I just say it!

FooChow Chicken "Mee Sua"

Hoh hey! The first ever post after so long of sabatical break. Well, so called sabatical. During month of May, I had gone through my gall bladder operation at Timberland Medical Centre. I was attacked by gallstone. The operation was successfully operated by Dr. Wong Kwong Hieng. I had removed my gallbladder! Hokkien used to say "boh ta" (no guts) !

He(the Dr.) told me that it will not be painful but in fact it was so painful! Well, it's a surgery...what do you expect? Probably he was trying to cool me down. It was a "keyhole" surgery, also known as laparoscopic cholecystectomy. After the surgery, I am not allowed to take any oily food for at least 3 months as advised by Doctor. But who cares!! I have been taking all the oily food ever since discharged from Hospital. Muahahaha...but of course going to toilet is even more often eh?

The doctor gave me back my two big stones(I am not going to post it together with my food post). It's in the size of sour plum seed. Arrkk! Doctor said it's very unusual for my age to suffer from gallstone. The symptom was high fever accompanied with diarrhea. You will feel want to vomit but nothing will come out from your stomach. If you did, it's suppose to be a food poisoning case and not a gallstone case. Ok! not too much into details as this is suppose to be a food post!

During my last weekend, I have tried my new dish Foochow Chicken "Mee Sua" with Pork liver. Woah, sounds delicious. It's suppose to be a very oily dish, but I somehow managed to filter them out. Well, I would say it's a failed mission as I had overcooked everything.

Normally it has to be accompanied with a boiled egg. Of course with the black soya sauce! but hey! where is the sliced chili!?

A closer look...mushrooms, pork liver, chicken and sliced ginger. The taste is not boombastic enough as I have not added enough of "tsao tsing teochew" wine.

..arrhhh, too much of "Mee Sua". Didn't cook in the correct porpotion. Will try to make it better next time! Anyone has a better ingredients or better way of cooking this, please inform me yeah ;)
