Thanks to StephenLim@BlogSpot

YiEnT@u and SteF@nie would like to take this opportunity to thank StephenLim for his great effort to blog on our wedding. I was really stunned when I saw it from his blog. Visiting his blog daily is my job. Well, not to say it's my job but in fact his blog is really inspiring and I really enjoy reading them. He blog a lot about food, nice photoshots and most importantly his achievements in his life.

Me and Stephen met at Uni and I get to know this freak(he is a computer geek) in a weird way. One day during my first few lectures, I saw a guy sitting in the hall(in darkness) and was trying to fill in some forms. I think it's PTPTN forms if I am not mistaken. The Uni started the semester already and he apply for his entrance at that last minute. I talked to myself, "hhmm...this guy must have an interesting story to tell me". My friend Kean Yew, Edmond, and some others surrounded him and were chit chatting with him. He seemed not to be responding to what they were talking and continue filling up the forms. From that moment, I have a great feeling of friendship towards him and I can see the fire in his eyes to strive for his studies.

During the first semester of my first year, finding the right person to go through thick and thin in the Uni for studies is not an easy task. Then my friend Kean Yew keep telling me how great is this Stephen and he has a strong programming background during his form six. He took programming as one of his subject during his form six and that really gave me a "Wow" in my mind. So, I have make up my mind to be very close to him - real close...hahahaha. But hey, this really sounds like I am making friend with him just because he has something I wanted to learn for? Not really, Ok? We have a lot of things that are mutually clicked. No doubt after following him, my result really got better(because I joined his team to gain more marks in the project and I don't need to do anything! nyek nyek nyek!).

I am greatly inspired by his achievements and whatever he was doing before, now and in future. He really gave me a lot of encouragements in my life. He taught me how to write codes, play basketball, "kau lui"(ooppss), meaning of life, leadership and much more. I think I am just the opposite version of him, that's bad. Even now, I am still impressed with his achievements and yet I am so lay back from what he had achieved up to this date. He won a lot of programming contests(even during Uni), awards, Java programmers recognition, one of the top scorer for Final Year Project, a lot of girls fall in love with him and etc etc etc...I am envy of what he had achieved.

If anyone asked me today, who do you think inspired you the most in your life...I would say StephenLim. He is probably not the best but his spirit to strive for what he wants in his life has greatly inspired me. I hope one day I would be able to be ahead of him, only if I am able :-)

Well, this is the photo we got during our final paper of our final semester outside the hall. We were so happy that we did it! The joyous moment we had. This photo is the most memorable one for me. Thanks Stephen, friendship forever!

One World One Dream

Eight Eight Eight! Yes, it's 8th of August, 2008. This has mark another historic date that brings a lot of memories and a chapter to ourselves or people around us. Some people might choose today for their wedding, some people will choose today as their kid's birth date, some choose to forgive their enemies and turn out to be their good friends; Whatever it is, the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games begins!

This is the day where all the long awaited athletes around the World begins their journey. They had gone through so many tough trainings and I believe a lot of sacrifices too. There must be a lot struggles that they need to overcome, dreams that they had dreamt it comes true. A lot of emotions involved in the process as well. You know when you had a dream to be one of the Olympian but you were disqualified even from taking part. So, are you ready?

Welcome, Beijing 2008 Olympic Games!

The National Stadium for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Ever wonder how does the torch works?

Do you know they have jade with a flat donut size in the middle of every each of the medal? You can read more on how all these were made. It's very interesting.

I love the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games song very much. If you have not heard them yet, the song is available for you right after the jump.

Nameless mood

Today is Wednesday, 23rd July 2008. Anything wrong with the date? Personally think it's nothing wrong here. Wait, what time is it? It's 8:00pm...Again, I find it nothing wrong with the time. So, can anyone tells me what went wrong? Aahhh...maybe I have not had my dinner yet. Stomach? naahh, I am not hungry. "tik tok tik tok tik tok" (clock ticking)...

"Beep beep beep beep" (Handphone received a SMS)...my heart beat increased. Rushing towards my handphone and check who is looking for me...aahhh, my cousin in law saying the person who helps him to install cctv had just fixed the connection problem. hhhmmm....what is wrong here?

Everyone was trying to talk to me but I doesn't seems to concentrate. But my hand just keep typing and can't stop to express what is my feeling. I would say it's a mixed feeling. I don't know how to put them down in words. Probably a few words to describe it. I will put them down as my memory...

Disappointment, Betrayed, Hopeless, Helpless, Stressed, Shameful, Guilty, Regrets, Puzzled, Afraid and Panic...

So, can anyone tells me what kind of mood I am currently having? ...and thank you for not asking. Good night.

Focus on the family

Marriage...how many people understands what is the true meaning of marriage? Some of us will love to talk about this...some of us will try to run away from even discussing about it. Is it because of commitment you gave during your courtship? Is it because you love her too much? or is it because everyone is doing it and that's why? ...or probably the old folks are pushing you to the corner?

I am not sure whether any of you attended marriage counselling course before. I would say it's something essential for all stages of couples. No matter you are married, going to get married or even as a young couple that just got hooked.

I get to know this course by my own Church. It's actually one the prerequisites of our wedding at Church. I believe a lot of Christians should have gone through the course. Almost 99% of them give thumbs up to the course. Some even attended the course more than 3 times.

It's not free but definitely worth more than what you pay. It cost RM25 per person, meaning RM50 per couple. The material that they gave you is basically more than that. After the end of the course, they provide a candle lit dinner for both the couple. The one that I attend was conducted by Focus on the family. You can read more on their website.

My gf and I learned a lot about what are our differences and how we should punch each other at face tolerate with each other. A lot of things that the speaker talked about were so true about each one of us as a couple. Different backgrounds and those bad habits and get to know more even about ourselves! Sometimes we thought we know ourself very well, but it's not! trust me. They even talked about what are our expectations to our spouse and what are those things that we SHOULD NOT have expected from our spouse. There are a lot of DOs and DON'Ts guideline that I find it quite helpful.

Did I just gain weight? Did I?? No? *phew*~

I will really encourage those who have not attend the course before, to join at least once. It really helps to provide a clearer picture of what marriage is meant for. Especially for those rookies(young couple). At least they will realise what they really mean when they say "I Love You" or "I want to marry you, one day"...BBbbLLLLrrrrrr.... Can't believe I just say it!

Lost Contact

Lately don't really have time and most importantly no Internet connection from my house :( I am currently using 3G and it keeps disconnected. My gf who is working with Telekom told me that they(Telekom) will only be putting up the fixed line by end of this month year :( So, have to wait and wait and wait. Besides that, my camera can longer functions. Not sure what's happening. Guess it's time to get a new one.

sigh!

Eh? not sure whether anyone still reading this...hahahaha. Nevermind, if this blog is no longer visited by anyone, it will be my personal diary. :P

But if YOU are reading this...ermm, no prize for you too! hahaha, but seriously I will back to blog world soon.

UPDATE: Sorry, my house Internet will only be available by end of this year, not this month!!! *sob* *sob*

Meow!

Hhhmm...this male cat has been sleeping since the first day I joined my company until today. Quite pity with him also since he got "mata juling" :( Maybe that is why he always closes his eyes. I try to approach him to show him love and care, but he always run away :( I would like to give him a name...anyone can suggest ? What about "Big Head"(Tua Tao in Hokkien - hehe) ? yeah, his head is really huge !
