Sematan Trip - part 2

It's getting dark! Let's get back to chalet and take our bath ! Dinner is about to start ...

Night view of the restaurant...
What buffet ??? it's just a normal "Chap Chai Pui" (mixed vegetable rice). sigh!!!
Everyone satisfied with the food though :p
While we were having our dinner, "Jac Jac Jac" and the gang suddenly stood up and ran into the restaurant(previously were having dinner at their outdoor sitting place) and shouting "aarrhhh!!! sand fly!!!". Then I thought they are too sissy. heh! After they ran into the restaurant, the sand fly attacked us! arrghhh! @.@!! The above picture shows the "Attacker" of the night. They were in Millions! No way for us to kill them by only tens of us. Lucky that we brought along our insect repellent.
Surpriseeeee!!! Birthday girl who doesn't know that we had prepared the celebration for her! Yes! She was overjoyed and can see from her face, full of surprise and touched ! Before that, we were having our sweet time praising and worshiping God. We sang around 10 songs...Simply just not enough because the environment was so cooling when the freezing wind blown so strongly at our direction. Really got the feel of worshiping. Worth to experience God's presence in such an environment.
Chocolate cake ! love it~
Initially we planned to have some bible readings after the birthday girl's celebration. Eventually ends up discussing BGR(Boy and Girls Relationship). It was really a good discussion where we actually see/understand different opinions from different backgrounds. It's an eye opener to me for every each one of their opinion. Thanks God for the revelations.

So, that's it for part 2...I supposed to have part 3 ! It's the next day's event ! But my "S T U P I D" camera ran out of battery! :'( Hoping to get those photos from others and I will blog it for part 3 ;)

Sematan Trip - part 1

Sematan is one of the Kuching's latest tourist attraction spot - simply because they had just completed their bridge/road to ease the accessibility from the Kuching City. I heard a lot of people shouting about how wonderful Sematan is, until I experienced it by myself last Friday ! It was a good sunny day for us to have an outing. It's really great and I want to give thanks to God that it doesn't rain throughout all of our activities. Yes !

Anyway, I would say it's a place for a group of people having some outdoor activities at beach instead of two-person's vacation. Maybe because what they have is just vacation house and beach ! Hahaha, but it's really a great place for a group of people to gather for some activities like outdoor games, camp fire and so on. It's also a good place for those who wants to be alone to think of writing the world most difficult programming ! All in all, it's a nice place. I almost don't want to come back already. Hoping that all of us will stay there forever ! Thanks buddy for all of the efforts !

Stressssssss

Tomorrow is Good Friday ! yeah! It has been a long, bored and tired week for me. Currently my company need to choose a few technologies which need my so-called "expertise" to finalize which path to go and so on. My job is to keep doing research and define what is the best solution for their upcoming version 2.0 product. Too many questions and problems and yet we need to tie ourself down with a controlled environment of framework and so on. This is ridiculous, I know...but.

Anyway, its going to be a three days holidays for us ! My CG(Cell group) is organizing a trip to Sematang for picnic ! At least all of the hard work pays off ! Though there are still a bunch of pending research need to be done. But who cares ! Ooppss...I am made of flesh, ok ? Not a robot ! even robot also would exhausted after so many days of intensive work ! Looking forward for the trip. hehe...

Just finished with my packing, so stay tuned with the photos yeah ;) Hope it will be a nice one. Pray to God that it will be a good weather and a mercy journey for all of us, Amen.

*Where is my camera !!!*

57 Cents

I was overjoyed when my company announced to me that I no longer need to involve in Weekend Support starting from this week. The reason of overjoyed is because I can go to Church again ! yay~ I still can remember last few months ago when I was at Aberdeen, I don't have a single chance to go to a church there. It's not that I am a Christian and that's why I want to go church. To me, going church is like a place where we can renew/refresh/F5(IT terms)/regain our hope/confess our sins and a lots more.

Today pastor was giving us a sermon "The beautiful thing". He was telling us a TRUE STORY of a little girl at dont-know-where. What I know is definitely a very poor country. She is still a young and innocent little girl where all of her relatives had gone(probably died in a war) including her parents. One day, a pastor came across this little girl and bring her to church and teaches her a lot things about Christianity during every Sunday School. She is very interested and came every week. After two weeks, she died because of her severe sickness. The pastor was very sad and went to the place where she lived. He found a piece of used paper which is folded properly on the floor. He unfold the wrapped paper and found 57 cents and a few words in the paper. It's her hand writing and she wrote(something like that) :

"Lord, I pray to you that I gave my 57 cents to you; so that you would help the pastor to build a bigger Church. So that, there will be more rooms for the Sunday School children."

The pastor was very touched while his tears kept flowing down and he wants to share this as a testimonial during the next Sunday Service. While he preached this, one of a youngster laughed and said "hah! what can you do with the 57 cents ? are you kidding ?". After a few days later, a young man came to him and said to the pastor, "Pastor, I would like to offer my big piece of land to you to build a bigger Church.". The pastor replied, "oh, young man thanks for the offer but our Church can't afford to buy that big piece of land". The young man replied, "I am selling it to you with the cost of that 57 cents."

At the end, our pastor was so emotional and was crying in front of the congregation. I almost cried also but I tell myself that I cannot cry because this is a public place ! and even my dad caned me for 100 times when I was small and yet I never cry ! I did cry in my heart though.

Well, anyway it's something for us to ponder. The faith in the little girl where she believed that one day the Church can buy a big piece of land to build a big Church with just 52 cents !
