YiEnT@u & SteF@niE's Wedding - Part 4 (Final)

We had gone through so many stages and at last there is one more round to go. That's the wedding reception at Holiday Inn at Pelagus Room. Let us welcome Siti Hasmah my grandma to my wedding reception, but hey...there are a lot of people told me she really looks like Siti Hasmah. LOL!!!

My grandma really looks like Siti Hasmah, isn't she?
Sign before you enter!
Menu of the night...
Two ice carving swans...love it a lot
Champagne from Holiday Inn
Hahaha...many complained of how ugly was the cake.

Emcee of the night, Lee Chun a.k.a. Leech!
We played the music "Unforgettable - sung by Nat King Cole", with the splashes of pop canon during our entrance...It's memorable...
No turning back

Hehe...we were so afraid that it doesn't get pop...
...and we did it! Yesss!!!

Stefanie's colleagues were there too...you know what, they can do the same "Yum Seng" as we did! even louder if not mistaken...haha
"Yum yum yum yum yum yum yummmm....Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnngggggggggggg!!!!!!"

Alright, that's all for YiEnT@u and SteF@nie's Wedding story! Faster say congratulations to me liao! hahaha...thank you thank you!

YiEnT@u & SteF@niE's Wedding - Part 3

It's time to get the bride home...The weather turned into cloudy and made me worried when we were about to reach home. Luckily it was just a few drops of rain and it stopped when we reached home. Then our hero, Julian helped to burn the firecrackers. I think this is a Chinese tradition and I don't agree it has anything to do with chasing away the dark forces or some pantang that we are following. I want it so that it looks like we were "alarming" to the guests "We are back!" - nope, nothing more than that; really.

"We are back!"
"Tah Daaahhh~"...the bride had just entered the house and no turning back, muahahaha!
I can't recall what's so funny but everyone seemed to be laughing, so I laughed as well? hahaha...
Tea ceremony started with Grandma @ Ma Ma...some do not agree we need to kneel down, but we did...
...even with parents
This is the greatest part...Everyone shouted to me to carry the bride into the room. By not wanting to let anyone down, I tried. Let's see how I did this...
I banged her to the door, and then to the wall and then...
...swinged myself 360 degrees turn

...and "dumped" her onto the bed! Woww...that's the first time I see myself carrying the bride and I did it so badly. I have to use the word "dumped" because I lost my strength due to that morning's "get the bride" session. It's really memorable...to be honest, I was thinking to swing her when I make the 360 degrees turn, hahaha...
I think this is Teochew's tradition or Kuchingites culture to have the bride's brother or a guy(as in man) to bring in the luggage full of bride's belongings, gold jewelleries and cash pasted at the cover of the luggage. Hhhmmm...interesting.
Try to count 'em and tell me the figure, whoever can count 'em right would be eligible to redeem your cash prize from me. Hahahaha...

YiEnT@u & SteF@niE's Wedding - Part 2

It falls on 18th of October 2008...do you know how did we choose this date? Don't get me wrong, we didn't go for any date consultation from temple or something. It was because both of our birth date falls on 18th, I bought my first car on 18th too, and a lot of our memorable things falls on 18th...so we decided to choose the 18th of the month, just any month within the year of 2008 and it must be on Saturday. Bingo, there we found the only 18th of the month that falls on Saturday in the year of 2008 is 18th October 2008. Surprisingly it's really a "red" date for most of the chinese and therefore all of the Hotels, restaurants were all fully booked and lucky that we made our booking one year ahead. Just imagine how "kiasu~ism" has been a trend lately...even buying an air ticket to fly back to Sibu has to be done a year ahead. Sigh!!!

Enjoy the part 2 photos of our Holy Matrimony at Trinity Methodist Church, yeah ;)

My singspiration team of my wedding. From left, Kara Keung, Gorden Law, Robin Chien, and Lucy. Thanks guys for the help!
Pianist of the day, Wendy Lim...it's really our honour to have her as our pianist. She is really good in all musical instruments, don't play play...She is with IMH(International Music House)...must be something lah, else how can she join IMH? hehe...Thanks, Wendy!
This is the moment where I almost cry but I still want to hold the title of a tearless man...hahaha. Just imagine during my childhood, when my dad caned me until he broke the cane, I didn't even let a drop of my tear out other than making some fake crying noise to stop him from beating me...hehehe, so naughty and "kek teng"(act tough). In fact, her dad told me a lot of things like - "take care of her, don't scold her, give her chance" and so on...uurrggghhh!! Make me feel like I am a ...

Unity candle...
Signing of registry at Church with Rev. Wong Kee Sing. He asked us one question which I find it amusing...he asked whether this marriage was forced by anyone or totally of our own will. In my heart, I told myself...I was forced by Stefanie...hahaha, just joking :-p But of course we told him it's our own will lor...nowadays where got parents still forcing their child to marry so and so...that's during olden days.
Recessional...yay~ we are married! 2 in 1
Come come come, single ladies!! it's flower throwing time...you can see all single ladies waiting down there with saliva. Guess what? When we threw the bouquet of flower, nobody rush to catch it. So it ended up kissing the floor and broke into pieces...I just couldn't believe that they just stand where they were and looking at the flower to fall to the floor...sigh!!! really speechless...
We had a buffet lunch at the carpark...yum yum~ It was ordered from Country Court Restaurant...

Ok, That's all for part 2...stay tuned for part 3 and 4!
