YiEnT@u & SteF@niE's Wedding - Part 3

It's time to get the bride home...The weather turned into cloudy and made me worried when we were about to reach home. Luckily it was just a few drops of rain and it stopped when we reached home. Then our hero, Julian helped to burn the firecrackers. I think this is a Chinese tradition and I don't agree it has anything to do with chasing away the dark forces or some pantang that we are following. I want it so that it looks like we were "alarming" to the guests "We are back!" - nope, nothing more than that; really.

"We are back!"
"Tah Daaahhh~"...the bride had just entered the house and no turning back, muahahaha!
I can't recall what's so funny but everyone seemed to be laughing, so I laughed as well? hahaha...
Tea ceremony started with Grandma @ Ma Ma...some do not agree we need to kneel down, but we did...
...even with parents
This is the greatest part...Everyone shouted to me to carry the bride into the room. By not wanting to let anyone down, I tried. Let's see how I did this...
I banged her to the door, and then to the wall and then...
...swinged myself 360 degrees turn

...and "dumped" her onto the bed! Woww...that's the first time I see myself carrying the bride and I did it so badly. I have to use the word "dumped" because I lost my strength due to that morning's "get the bride" session. It's really memorable...to be honest, I was thinking to swing her when I make the 360 degrees turn, hahaha...
I think this is Teochew's tradition or Kuchingites culture to have the bride's brother or a guy(as in man) to bring in the luggage full of bride's belongings, gold jewelleries and cash pasted at the cover of the luggage. Hhhmmm...interesting.
Try to count 'em and tell me the figure, whoever can count 'em right would be eligible to redeem your cash prize from me. Hahahaha...
